Error 8038.

1. Error Message.
• Error 8038! Android download  pmt is ready and layout has been changed
2. What is the meaning?
• SP Flash tool is having trouble writing to certain partitions due to some incompatibility 
3. How to Fix it.
• Try to format Android Phone in SP Flash Tool, but do not format the bootloader.
• Once it finishes, you can try to flash it using Download.
• If Download doesn't work then do a firmware upgrade.
• Then, If the MTK backup contains more than one scatter file, you can retry flashing with the other scatter file.
• Or try formatting first or use the firmware upgrade
• If this way still doesn't work, try to open the scatter file using Notepad++ and change __NODL_FAT to FAT by removing "__NODL_"

Error 4032.

1. Error Message.
• BROM ERROR : S_FT_ENABLE_DRAM_FAIL (4032) [EMI] Enable DRAM fail 
2. What is the meaning?
• The firmware you're trying to flash is either not compatible with your device or you have selected the wrong flashing settings 
3. How to Fix it.
• Make sure that the file you're trying to flash is in accordance with the phone model.
• Don't forget to tick the boxes for only the files present in the ROM you're about to flash.
• Make sure MT65xx MediaTek USB VCOM drivers are installed correctly, see this guide
• Try to use freshly extracted SP Flash tool from Zip file, and delete the old one.
• Make sure the phone is switched off (If the phone has a removable battery, the battery must still inside) before connecting to PC for flashing. 
• Try to keep holding down the volume down button before connecting the phone to PC for flashing. (every phone may vary).
• Always update using the latest of SP Flash Tool version.

Error 5056.

1. Error Message.
• BROM ERROR : S_DL_PMT_ERR_NO_SPACE (5069) 
2. What is the meaning?
• The size of a file (Stock ROM) is larger than the available/possible partition size
3. How to Fix it.
• Make sure that the file you're trying to flash is in accordance with the phone model.
• You can try to use another Stock ROM file.

Error 4001.

1. Error Message.
•  S_FT_DA_NO_RESPONSE or 
2. What is the meaning?
• this means that the SP flash tool is having difficulty communicating with the Android device.
3. How to Fix it.
• You can try to fix it by changing the USB-port on your PC or laptop.
• Try to run the SP flash tool as Administrator.

• Try to flash your Android phone on another PC or laptop.
• Make sure the phone is switched off (If the phone has a removable battery, the battery must still inside) before connecting to PC for flashing.

Error 4008.

1. Error Message.
• BROM ERROR : S_FT_DOWNLOAD_FAIL (4008) 
2. What is the meaning?
•  SP Flash tool program encountered an error while attempting to flash files to your Android phone.
3. How to Fix it.
• Make sure the phone is switched off (If the phone has a removable battery, the battery must still inside) before connecting to PC for flashing.
• Always update using the latest of SP Flash Tool version.
• You can try to fix it by changing the USB-port on your PC or laptop.

Error 3149.

1. Error Message.
• BROM ERROR : S_DA_SDMMC_WRITE_FAILED (3149)
2. What is the meaning?
• This error means that the SP Flash tool was unable to flash files to the Android phone
3. How to Fix it.
• Always update using the latest of SP Flash Tool version.
• Try to use the format option then download in SP flash tool
• Don't forget to tick the boxes for only the files present in the ROM you're about to flash.
• Try to flash your Android phone on another PC or laptop.
• Try to use a different Stock ROM
• Change your USB cable
• Try to use the format option then download in SP flash tool

Error 3168.

1. Error Message.
• BROM ERROR: S_CHIP_TYRE_NOT_MATCH(3168)
2. What is the meaning?
• This error means that SP Flash read that on the flashing process there is a mismatch between the information provided in the scatter file and the phone's info.
3. How to Fix it.
• Make sure that the file (ROM) you're trying to flash is in accordance with the phone model.
• Always update using the latest of SP Flash Tool version.
• Make sure MT65xx MediaTek USB VCOM drivers are installed correctly, see this guide
• Make sure all driver is installed correctly for your PC and Android phone.

Error 2004.

1. Error Message.
•  BROM ERROR : S_FT_DOWNLOAD_FAIL (2004)
2. What is the meaning?
• This error means there was an interruption in the communication between the SP flash tool and the Android device.
3. How to Fix it.
• Try to change your USB cable.
• Try to change the USB-port on your PC or laptop.
• Run SP Flash tool as Administrator. 
• Right-click flash_tool.exe > Select Properties > Select Compatibility > Set to Windows XP Service Pack 3 > Click Apply > Click OK > Run SP flash tool as Administrator.
• Make sure the phone is switched off (If the phone has a removable battery, the battery must still inside) before connecting to PC for flashing.
