Root on Android Sony Xperia Z2. This guide will help you to Full Root on Android Sony Xperia Z2 Smartphone. If you rooting your phone, you can more optimize this device. This is detail specifications of Sony Xperia Z2, This is a smartphone with a 5.2 Inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen, 16M colors, work on Android OS, v4.4.2 (KitKat), v5.0.2 (Lollipop), planned upgrade to v6.0 (Marshmallow) and supported with Quad-core 2.3 GHz Krait 400 Processor, chipset Qualcomm MSM8974AB Snapdragon 801, GPU Adreno 330. combined with 3 GB of RAM and 20,7 MP on Primary camera and 2,2 MP on secondary camera. This guide work for all device with a locked and unlocked bootloader. So, you don't need to unlock bootloader Sony Xperia Z2 to follow this guide. 

Guide to root Sony Xperia Z2.

1. Make sure you have enabled USB Debugging on your Android Sony Xperia Z2 device.
• Go to Settings ->Developer Options -> USB Debugging.
• If Developer Options does not appear under the settings menu. You can enable it by going to :
• Settings > About Phone > Device Info and tap on Build Number for about 7-8 times. And then go back and follow the previous step.
2. Please enable "Unknowns Source" from (Menu -> Settings -> Applications)
3. Make sure ADB Driver was installed correctly on your computer. you can check it at ;
• Control Panel > Device Manager.

4. Then, connect your Sony Xperia Z2 device using a USB cable to the computer. It will automatically install the driver. (for windows 7 or above)
5. You must d0wnload this file (Z2-Community_RootKit-v01.zip) Here 
6. Now, extract it completely using 7Zip /WinZip/WinRar.
7. Then, go to the folder where its extracted and execute "RUNME.bat"
8. Now you will see the following screen appear that says "Installing exploit app"

9. And you will see on your computer screen, that this script is copying a big file size. Just let it go work.

10. Once the copying process is completed, the script will ask you to 'Crash' the service menu app to complete. Now, you can access your phone and you should notice that the script has opened your Service Menu.
• Click on Service Info > Configuration.
11. Your  Sony Xperia Z2 will blink and then you will be thrown back into the Service Menu.
12. Then, Click any key on your PC/laptop to continue.

13. If successful, you will then see the following screen.

14. Once again, the process is the same as above. 
• Crash the Service Menu 
• and then press any key on your PC to continue.
15. If the second step successfully you will see a notification on your computer screen that says "Removing exploit app" which will then disappear.

16. Now, Disconnect the USB cable from your Sony Xperia Z2 and reboot the device once the script window disappears.
17. Finish,
