1st Method. Hard Reset Using Menu :

1. Make sure your battery is fully charged, Recommended you have 80% of battery capacity

3. Go to menu: System Setting >
4. Select Backup and Reset >
5. Factory Data Reset > 
6. Reset Phone
7. Choose Erase everything to confirm that you already to perform a hard reset on  LG NEXUS 5X

13. On the next screen, you will be prompt to select Yes or No. Now, you must select Yes.
