How to Flash ROM on Lenovo S60 using QFIL tool.

Prerequisites.

1. You must download and install USB Driver for Lenovo on your windows computer or PC. Here

3. Download Qualcomm HSUSB USB COM Drivers Here  
4. Download ROM; S60-a_S227_150806_ROW-QPST-QFIL Here  
5. To download all file above you must be a registered user.

Guide To flash Lenovo S60.

1. To flash your Android Lenovo S60, your battery must fully 100% charged, 
2. On this guide use Rom Version: 5.0.2 S60-a_S227_150806_ROW .
3. Flashing process will erase/ wipe/delete all user data and file stored in phone memory. We recommend to backup all data. see this guide on how to backup your Android data.

4. Install all Prerequisites file and tool above.
5. Turn off your Lenovo S60 
6. Now, enter your Lenovo S60 into download mode. you can do it by  :

• Press and Hold Volume UP button and plug-in USB Cable to the computer

7. Lenovo S60 will vibrate one time, and you will see a black screen.
8. Open device manager on your computer, There should be a device called

9. Now Run utility QFIL from your computer.
10. In the Programmer, path specifies the path to the file prog_emmc_firehose_8916.mbn for this click browse.
11. Then on the Select Build search path to the folder with the firmware by click on Browse button. in this case, we use file extracted from S60-a_S227_150806_ROW-QPST-QFIL
12. Then Select file program (ex : prog_emmc_firehose_89XX. mbn) and click open.

13. Then click on the Load XML …in the window that opens, select one by one – 
• For example 
• first rawprogram0.xml 
• click “Open” 
• then patch0.xml 
• also, click “Open.”
14. Make sure all inputs are correct and click Download under Load XML button.
15. Now wait for the process to run about 5 to 10 minutes:
16. The Lenovo S60 device should restart the process of filling in the successful firmware and boot into Android OS.
17. Warning, on the first boot your Lenovo S60 will take about up to 15 minutes. So, don't worry about it
18. Finish.
